Joe has 15+ years working on and leading the UI and UX of large scale websites and complex web applications in a variety of industries – including fin tech, education, healthcare, lifestyle and entertainment.
After receiving his Master’s from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), he worked as a developer for 5 years for various design and development agencies in New York City including Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, ESI Design, ORG inc and MGMT Design.
During his time working as a developer, he also learned about graphic design and typography while working and taking evening classes at The Cooper Union, and eventually took on independent projects. In addition to his Master’s, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Wesleyan University.
Joe’s work experience includes stints at JPMorgan Chase, Food Network, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Everyday Health – broadening and deepening his craft and leadership skills.
